As many people choose to jump for charity, the pricing structure remains the same for everybody. This keeps it simple, and fair for those individuals who may not be associated with a charity jump.
No. Any event planning is calculated on estimated numbers which are not fixed. However we encourage participants to book early with a deposit amount, as we have a limited number of spaces available for Skydiving on the Isle of Wight.
We can discuss payment terms with each charity individually depending on the event structure. However, we strongly recommend that individuals book their own space with a deposit amount to secure their place and confirm their commitment to your event.
There are many models which we can discuss with you about fundraising and paying for the skydive itself. Ultimately each skydive must be paid for in full. Some individuals may offer to cover the cost of the jump entirely themselves leaving 100% of the money raised by them for your charity. Other schemes include proportional subsidy, which we can help you organise.
No. The agreements regarding each skydive are between Skydive Sandown and the individual participants. They must acknowledge all our terms and conditions in order to participate.
Yes. Participants must weigh less than 95Kg (15 stones) when they attend for the skydive. If between 16 and 18 years of age, they will also require parental consent. There is no upper age limit or height restrictions.
Participants must sign a declaration of fitness to skydive. In most cases a self-declaration is sufficient which is detailed on our documents page. In the event an applicant feels unable to self declare, then a doctors consent version is required. Also available from our documents page.
Yes. We only skydive in good weather. Therefore if the weather is not suitable, we would expect participants to wait for an improvement, or in exceptional circumstances re-schedule to another day. For this reason, we recommend booking early in our season to allow for any posiible re-schedule.
We have plenty of availability based on previous years demand, so we encourage you to think big, to get the best results for your event. One charity subscribed 100 people, so don’t limit your initial expectations.
Yes. We encourage you to bring a gazebo and merchandise to make the most of your event. You could also consider providing t-shirts which are a great way to produce media opportunities for better exposure.
No. Sndown airfield has its own regulated food facility which has a strict policy on maintaining a high level of food hygiene standards. For this reason, external food supplies are not allowed on site. This includes packed lunches. Anyone not wishing to use these facilities must consume their own food off site.
We schedule groups of arrivals throughout the day to allow for shorter waiting times. In any event we expect people to be available for up to four hours, however typically their experience should be completed within two hours.
Yes, we encourage you to take photos and video which you may publish being mindful of other peoples privacy and GDPR requirements. You must have the permission of any identifiable persons before publication.
